How do tiramisu stencils work?
Lay the acrylic stencil flat on the surface of your set tiramisu, dust cocoa (or icing sugar) generously through the cut-outs, then lift it straight up. The crisp acrylic edges give you sharp lettering every time. No piping skill required.
Are the stencils food safe and how do I clean them?
Yes. They are cut from food-safe clear acrylic. To clean, wipe or quickly rinse with a soft, damp cloth and warm water, pat dry, and store flat. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cloths, the dishwasher and excessive heat. All of these can damage the finish.
Can I order a custom-text stencil, and how long does it take?
Yes. The Custom Text Tiramisu Stencil Set lets you specify any wording (name, date, message) and we laser-cut it to order in our Brisbane studio. Standard production is 5 to 7 business days from when your order is accepted and paid. Shipping time is in addition to that.
I have a tight deadline. Can you rush my order?
Possibly. Rush production is not enabled as an automatic checkout option right now, so please email info@helloacrylic.com.au before placing your order with your required-by date and we will confirm whether we can fit it in. Rush requests are subject to capacity.
What does shipping cost and how long does it take?
Standard Shipping is $12 with a 5 to 10 business day delivery window within Australia. Express Shipping is $20 with a 2 to 5 business day window. Express speeds up the carrier only; it does not move your order to priority in production. Shipping time is added on top of the 5 to 7 business day production window.
What size cake do these fit?
Our standard tiramisu stencils are sized for 9 inch / 23 cm round and rectangular tiramisus, which is the most common Australian dish size. Need a different dimension? Email info@helloacrylic.com.au before ordering and we'll quote a custom cut.
Can I reuse the stencils?
Yes. Acrylic stencils are designed to be reused. Clean between uses, store flat, and they stay sharp for years. Many of our buyers are home bakers, caterers and small business cake decorators who use the same set hundreds of times.
What's your refund and returns policy on stencils?
Because every stencil is made to order, we do not accept refunds or exchanges for change of mind, the wrong size or finish being ordered, or spelling errors in customer-supplied text. Please review your order details carefully before checkout. If your item arrives damaged or defective, email info@helloacrylic.com.au within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the item and the packaging, and we will assess a remedy in line with the Australian Consumer Law.
