Processing Times

At Hello Acrylic Australia, every item is made to order. Our processing times reflect the time it takes us to design, create and pack your custom pieces before they leave our studio. This page explains how our production time works, how shipping is calculated after dispatch, and what to choose if you need your order sooner.

How Our Processing Times Work

Because we create custom acrylic signage, personalised acrylic signs and laser-engraved products, each order requires hands-on production before it can be shipped or collected.

Production time is the time from when your order is accepted and paid until it is finished and dispatched or ready for pickup.
Shipping time is the time the carrier takes to deliver after your order has been dispatched.
All timeframes on this page are shown in business days and exclude weekends and Australian public holidays.

Standard Production

Our standard production time is 7 to 12 business days (approximately 1 to 2 weeks) from the date your order is accepted and paid.

This timeframe covers the work involved in producing handmade, made-to-order acrylic items, including:

Design and layout preparation (where applicable)
Cutting and laser work
Printing or engraving (depending on the product)
Assembly and finishing
Quality checks and packing

During busy periods such as Christmas, Mother’s Day, wedding season and major sales events, production can move towards the upper end of the 7 to 12 business day range.

Rush Production

If you have a tight deadline, a paid rush production upgrade may be available on eligible orders. Rush production aims to reduce production time to approximately 3 to 5 business days instead of the standard 7 to 12 business days.

How to Select Rush Production

Rush production is only available when you select “Rush Order + Express Shipping” at checkout.
The combined price is currently $45.00.
Rush production is subject to capacity and must be confirmed at checkout. It cannot always be guaranteed for every order or date.

Express Shipping Versus Rush Production

This is an important distinction:

Express shipping speeds up the delivery time with the carrier after your order has been completed in production and dispatched.
Express shipping does not speed up the standard 7 to 12 business day production window and does not make an order a priority in the workshop.
Only rush production makes an order a priority in production, and only when “Rush Order + Express Shipping” is selected and accepted.

Shipping After Production

Once production is complete and your order has been dispatched, shipping time depends on the delivery method chosen at checkout. Shipping time is in addition to the production timeframe.

Standard Shipping: $12.00
Express Shipping: $20.00
Local Pickup: collect from Hello Acrylic Australia (no shipping charge)

Local Pickup

Local pickup orders still require the same production time as shipped orders. Once your order is complete, we will email you when it is ready for collection.

Planning Your Order

If you are ordering for an event, birthday, wedding or other hard deadline, we recommend ordering as early as possible. While we do our best to meet indicative processing times, exact delivery dates cannot be guaranteed because production schedules and courier networks can vary.

If your required date is close, please contact us before ordering (or as soon as possible after ordering).
If rush production is essential, ensure you select “Rush Order + Express Shipping” at checkout and note that it is subject to capacity.
Please allow extra time during peak seasons and public holiday periods.

Delays, Consumer Expectations and Australian Consumer Law

Hello Acrylic Australia will make reasonable efforts to meet the indicative processing times and production time estimates on this page. However, delays may occur due to factors outside our control, including high order volume, material or supplier issues, equipment maintenance, address issues, or courier and network delays after dispatch.

Nothing on this page is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, including consumer guarantees.
